The route from Tabeguache is obvious: go to the Shavano/Tabeguache saddle and then drop down and across talus to the start of the slopes up Point 13,712. The slopes to 13,712's summit are steep and covered in blocky talus but there's only a couple hundred feet of that type of terrain to get there. At this point it is all dry. |
