the trail at Ruby Creek was well packed down till the left turn to get to the 3rd gully. 4 of us broke trail all the way up to the 3rd gully, ridge was wind blown and no issue. took so long in the snow we were not able to make it to Robeson Peak or Bard Peak. Had snow shoes in the car wish we had them, but most of the trail breaking was done on an angle and i hate that with SS on. Great trench now so someone please go use it! Winds were also an issue with us, Weather called for 50mph guest and i do not think they were wrong, we were measuring -10 with wind chill. Made it to the top of the ridge and turned around, took us 5hrs to the ridge and 2hrs back down to the car.
