Details
Floatation required from Hoosier Pass until just above tree line although there were quite a few people in the area packing down tracks. Ridge was windblown and even completely dry in some places from this point until the summit. Although there was occasional short sections of postholing it was easier to stash snowshoes and push through than it would have been to carry them then put on and take off repeatedly. Added Red Mtn. C which had more snow but was consolidated and did not need floatation here. Great sunny day with sections of gusty wind.
