Went to Grays as well. Wore spikes from car to summits and back. Lots of snow going down Grizzly ridge and spikes or crampons definitely needed there. Nice snow climb up gully on Torreys. Even better glissade on way back. Photos (click for slideshow):

Hey maximus6004 I'm the dude there in the photos and i also b.c ride, so from my judgment I don't think the snow we were on in that "gulley" would be worth the effort it take to get there with a board to ride. It is ridable though just not all to great,shallow in spots and wind drifty.Everything else out there has been effected by the wind and is honestly pretty dry . Only things on that route that are rideable and worth it are the couilors and Lee slopes through the basins and the upper grizzly side of the bowl between grizz and torreys. Nothing ridable on grays.
