Did a sunrise hike of Sniktau, Cupid, And Grizzly Peak D. Mostly summer conditions minus a few snow patches to cross, definitely want to do it earlier than later to ensure some nice snow pack.
Got to trailhead 5:10 and made my up to the ridge just in time to see the sunrise. I headed up to Sniktau and made great time just with boots and poles. Headed back down to the ridge and caught Cupid no problem but put spikes on shortly after. (Used them for Grizzly and back to Cupid.) The first 2 were a piece of cake but gets a bit more difficult from there. Grizzly is straight up hill and has some loose rock but a very rewarding class 2 hike. Overall great hike with phenomenal views of surroundings 14ers, Loveland Pass, and beautiful sunrise.
