Was able to drive about half a mile from North Halfmoon Creek TH in a Nissan rogue. Snow melt is in full force and makes for pretty slushy conditions below the treeline but it wasn't too bad at all. Most of the postholing was above the treeline at around 12~13k' in sections where snow drifts covered up the main summer trail. Definitely some route finding involved above the treeline -- trail disappeared frequently but I was able to relocate it better the closer I got to the summit. Summited with microspikes and poles which were both necessary. Didn't use any snowshoes or axe, they would've been nice in spots but they are more of a luxury than a necessity at this point.
