As noted in the conditions reports below, the route is pretty much in summer condition. We only crossed snow for roughly 100 yards on the entire hike. The snow was easy to walk across in the morning. On our way back down around 1pm we post holed a few times but nothing major. There is a part in the trail about 2.5-3.5 miles in where the trail is very overgrown and you actually have to crouch to walk under the overgrown bushes for about 100 feet, this may make the trail hard to find/follow once the summer growth starts. Overall though it was a great hike with perfect conditions. And there was only 3 other people on the trail besides my wife and I.
