Peak goes without any flotation or traction needed. Lots of down timber along the trail, which made the 24.5 miles feel even longer. The standard class 2 summit finish wraps below the cliffs on the SE face, but this was guarded by a steep snow slope that had high penalty points for a slip. An alternate snow free summit finish can be found by taking the East ridge direct and finding a short, loose class 3 gully on the NW side of the final summit ridge.

At least I think that is Woody in front, and Bob in the back.

I think I would like to hike that peak just for the name alone. Summit block looks interesting too.
