Beautiful day, beautiful route. 8:00 am start after sleeping through my alarm. The slow was quite soft throughout the route. Most of y'all probably know this, but for the newbies like me, stay out of the troughs. They are much softer and deeper and harder to climb in. Dead Dog is skiable from the knife-edge, which is still filled in with snow. The snow is deep and corny. I parked just a minute walk from the parking lot, so it's still not too busy on a weekday. This was my first climb of the year, so I took it easy and enjoyed the views. 8:00 am start. 11:35 summit. 1:30 heading home.
