I agree with a recent report that discussed at least 30 downed trees across the trail. Yesterday when I hiked this, I believe there are at least 50 downed trees. Weaken by beetle damage , and probably downed by high winds. These were between mile 1 and mile 4 on the east slopes route. I only crossed 5 feet of snow all day. Very nice day in a beautiful place. |
