Details
All snow is avoidable from Anderson Lake to Pt 13,105. From there, the ridge is snow free all the way to the summit of Anderson. The traverse to Petroleum is also dry, as is the descent directly off the Petroleum summit to Petroleum Lake. The gate at Portal Campground was open and I was able to drive all the way to a campsite near Truro Creek (about 1.5 miles past the CG). I could have easily driven all the way to the Anderson/Petroleum TH in our Subaru Outback, but we elected to use the campsite by Truro Creek as our base camp.
