Can one claim a summit if the actual summit is roped off, and if excavation debris from construction is piled higher than the normal summit, and also roped off? What a mess up top.

To the top of the highest dirt pile! I did it from the east side today and I€„¢m counting it, I stood on the summit plateau in front of the fence and went over to the benchmark (this is 12-14+ summits, so not really concerned about a specific spot on the summit as long as it€„¢s on the plateau)

Zambia - summit house is open, masks required. There€„¢s a detour to get to it if hiking from the east side, and you can only drive to Devils playground if you are doing that, then take a shuttle from there.
