Arrived trailhead at 6:30AM, temp was 28 degrees. Road up was no problem 7 cars in the lot. A little cool as we started up to Devils Playground but warmed up quickly. Needed gloves as we were in the shade but visibility was no problem. Trail was in great shape, perfectly dry with no snow. Passed 3 hikers on the way up and 2 passed us, otherwise no one. Arrived at Devils Playground at 9:30 in bright sun and zero wind, temp probably 50. Route to the Peak was clear and sunny. Back down at 11:00 with temp 65, lot was full. Last 1/2 mile many hikers of all shapes and sizes and dogs coming up. Glad we started early.
