beautiful day for the trek. No need for traction of any sort just yet, it was dry all the way to the top where you find the massive amounts of construction.

How‘s construction looking? I haven‘t been to the top since they started. I think they‘re supposed to finish next Spring.

It was still pretty rough up there. Heavy machines and fences all over the place. Wasn't much progress or activity going on construction wise but certainly lots of work left to be done. Finished next spring would be great, and though I don't know the scale of the project or what's left, I'd be surprised if they make that timeline based on the unfinished surfaces. There was still space to sit out on the edge of the mountain and enjoy the views but with a large section of the peak fenced in the crowds were relatively dense. Depending where you are with your COVID concerns, it was crowded enough that many were wearing mask at the top.
