I parked along CR391 and hiked CR382 up Sayres Gulch. The road up Sayres Gulch is a little less rough than CR391 and easy to follow on foot to the Sayres (misspelled Sayers on Forest Service maps) Gulch Trailhead. The trail thereafter is easy to follow until it runs through willow clumps and eventually ends in the upper gulch. Instead of ascending 13,295 directly I went under its north face and then ascended southeast/climber's left to its northeast ridge. Until the ridge the terrain was mostly grass with some talus and boulders thrown in, the remainder to the summit is annoying kitty litter scree and talus. Not difficult, just loose and irritating. I continued on to "Lake Fork Peak", but would have descended my ascent route if 13,295 was the only peak of the day.
