|Peak:||Mt. Sheridan (13er)|
|Date of Info:||11/01/2020|
Drove nearly the whole dirt road in 2WD, only used 4WD maybe the last mile. Snow increases the closer you get to the gate but in big patches interrupted by dirt. I went the whole way to the summit with no flotation or traction just fine. Snow is not consolidated but the patches are easy to avoid and if you do step on them the most you'll post hole is up to the shin but mostly just a few inches. I had to take off my hat and unzip my jacket I was overheating so much. Summit is basically free of snow except for the shelter.
Only saw one hiker, everybody else today went for Sherman the 14er. Its condition looked the same as Sheridan.
