Beautiful conditions today - bluebird sky, in the teens, and little to no wind. Snow was not a problem on the ascent except for a couple deep pockets when climbing the Sheridan/Sherman saddle - but they could be avoided. Took microspikes, didn't use them. Road was in good condition, was very doable in my stock Outback. Parked just below the 12,000ft gate. South slopes are NOT skiable.
