Too much snow now to follow the summer route, but not enough to do the winter route. Ended up in misery climbing the scree to reach the northwest ridge. Descending via the north ridge was MUCH easier -- almost no scree and much more tundra and larger, stable rocks. Wish I would have gone up and down via the north ridge. Beautiful day up there though -- light winds and abundant sunshine!

Those were your tracks

Hi Scott,

Those must have been your tracks in the snow on the summit ridge. I was on the summit just after 1:30pm and your tracks were fresh. I wonder by how much we missed each other. It certainly was a nice day up there.

Happy trails.

I made it up top around 11:30 AM, so just a couple hours before you. Glad you were able to get out on a great day for November and enjoy the super views and great conditions!
