From fish hatchery to the Colorado trail is very well packed. We put in a somewhat decent trench from here to treeline. Above treeline is 80% dry. You could avoid all snow if you really wanted to. Lots of snow collapsing and whoopf'ing but route stays on very low angle terrain, or is dry. Big day, 15 miles and 5k+ of vert by out gps. May not mean much after the incoming storms. |
