"Tigger" is quite easy from Princeton's saddle, really only a few minutes of hiking up snowy talus and boulders to the summit. We descended "Tigger"'s northeast ridge, which was by far the most annoying part of the day. Endless large talus and boulders with crap sugar snow on top and trap doors below. Tedious at best. Microspikes weren't useful for the ridge descent, but they might be if coming from Princeton, where there's more snow. Flotation only needed for the road approach. Ice axe not needed. |
