Main path and road is well packed, the road shortcuts are a bit choppy, but the first one was pretty solid. The second one, below the last switcback to the summer trailhead, leads through the willows towards Mt Evans, and doesn't split off to the main Bierstadt trail. It is also deteriorating, as I postholed a few times in the willows before getting to the Bierstadt trail. The willows are holding all the snow. So it's best to follow the road and summer route after the first winter shortcut. No snowshoes needed, spikes were helpful, firm snow on the main trail. Perfect weather. Toilets at summer trailhead looked open.

Evans looked drier than Bierstadt, I didn't look at all the details of the Sawtooth, don't seem to have pics. The ramp at least looked dry, as did most of Evans itself, along with Gray Wolf and Rosalie. Square Top looked snowier.
