I did a solo ski of Massive yesterday. There was continious snow from just below the junction of the Highline Trail and the Colorado Trail. I was able to skin from near the Evergreen Lakes but it was spotty in a few areas. Snow conditions were a consistant two to four inch layer of corn on a hard crust going all the way to the summit and back down to about 10,500 feet then a slog the rest of the way out. I saw some small wet slides on steep east facing slopes of mountains to west but none on Massive. The east slope was a good corn ski all the way back down below tree line.
