Road: Basic 4wd road from campground to treeline on fs 436. Moderate clearance recommended for water bars. One tree across road that we managed to nose out just enough to squeeze by. Road above treeline is rocky and sharp - good tires strongly recommended. Clear up to saddle. Took an f150 and only had a minor scrape on one of the first water bars.
Route: The E Ridge is a dry tundra/easy talus walk. The N Ridge is the same but with a few more scramble options. I'd say the N Ridge is more fun and direct, but the E Ridge is slightly longer with better views south. Very straight-forward, easy, and fast if you're looking for a quick altitude fix. The traverses to the nearby 12/13ers were all dry tundra/talus walks - unfortunately, the weather hit early today.
