|Peak:||"Golden Bear Peak" (13er)|
|Route:||South Ridge via Chair 4|
|Date of Info:||06/12/2016|
The ridge and the base of the ski area are almost completely snow-free. The hike up through the ski area still holds plenty of snow beneath the lift and between the top of the lift and the ridge, but the snowfields are large and only "punchy" near the edges.
I took snowshoes and spikes but didn't use them. Gaiters were mandatory and poles were helpful.
