Route: Traverse from Dyer

Info: Scattered snow patches on saddle between Dyer and Gemini. Easy to negotiate. No traction needed.

Route: Via Sherman

Info: Summer conditions. Wildflowers on the saddle were spectacular. Summit pitch is steep and almost all loose.

Route: From Mount Sherman

Info: Not a whole lot to say about Gemini except that it's quite a distance from Sherman and it's rather steep - steeper than it looks. You might find some Class 2+ climbing on Gemini. Be careful not to pull down a huge, loose block onto yourself, since that's all Gemini is comprised of.

Route: Iowa Gulch

Info: Summer conditions. Snow was easily avoidable.

Route: From Dyer
Posted On: 2016-11-20, By: Trotter
Info: Maybe 1 inch of snow in some spots. Ascent of final summit is steep but short. One of the biggest and best windbreaks on summit I've ever seen on a 13er.

Route: South Slopes from Mt. Sherman
Posted On: 2016-06-19, By: miniarmstrong
Info: Completely clear and free of snow. Great way to extend the hike from Mt. Sherman summit. The ascent involves some fun class 3 scrambling on mostly solid rock.
