Twin Sisters West
Condition Updates

Route: From end of Mineral Creek Road (FS 585)

Info: We took the trail from the end of FS 585 south towards the pass. Before reaching the pass itself we went southeast towards the giant, chossy cliffs on Twin Sisters West's southwest ridge. The cliffs were obviously too sketch to climb directly so we skirted around the south side on horrendously loose crap and then up more open slopes with loads and loads of dinner plated junk and some more solid stuff to scramble up on. The climbing here wasn't particularly difficult, just extra careful due to the exposure and loose nature of it. I would recommend a helmet here. Eventually we made the ridge proper and the remaining route returned to Class 2. There's a false summit en route to the true summit of Twin Sisters West. The traverse to Twin Sisters East is easy.

Route: Hardrock 100 Route from 585

Info: As expected from https://www.14ers.com/php14ers/tripreport.php?trip=17400 Hardrock 100 route was wet and muddy, but easy to follow. The small amount of snow was easily avoidable.
