There are still snow drifts crossing the road, but with a 4 wheel drive vehicle it is possible to get within about a half mile of the upper lake. The snow drift that is currently blocking the road is at the turn off for the lower lake. There are still a couple of pretty large snow drifts blocking the road in the last 1/4 mile.
