I stand corrected, and impressed. I made it past Jaws 1 and 2. I think it was Jaws 2.5 that looked sketchy to me. I‘ve got a Suzuki Quadrunner 500 cc and was afraid of flipping over backward on the steep rock. Maybe it was paranoia, but I wanted to weigh on the side of caution.

Yeah, it certainly requires a lot of rough-trail ATV experience to make it without banging up the machine or putting yourself in a difficult or dangerous position. You still got pretty high and didn't have to suffer in the heat on the lower road.
I did not. We only skirted the lake campsites so I could not say if there is one. Two years ago when I did camp there, people just brought rope and hoisted their stuff up. A better option would probably be a bear vault.
