I just wanted to put this out there because I didn't see much info on it. A low clearance 2WD passenger car can comfortable make it to the pullout at 7,750'. The road gets rocky and bumpy right at this point. This is about 1.6-1.7 miles up from the paved road. From here, I clocked almost exactly 6 miles hiking to Lake Como on my GPS.
