I didn't go to the Pika trailhead, but went to the trailhead at the end of Mountain View Drive. Take Sacramento Creek Road to CR 14 to CR14A to Mountain View Drive. Google thought it was a good idea to send me another way on a rough road through the neighborhood. There is a good parking area at the end of Mtn View Dr, but not much in the way of signage. From the parking area, take the trail to the northwest. About .1 miles there's a fork that is easy to miss. Take the left fork, which is a nice trail to timberline. (The right fork connects to Pika Trail, which is ascending from Prunes Ct, but I'm not sure where it goes after that.) Above timberline there are a few cairns, but not too many markings on the last part of the ascent. Simply continue up the ridge in front of you to the large cairn at the summit.
