Road is passable with AWD to 10,700 feet. It's a bit wet, but nothing a Subaru Forester couldn't handle. Do not go above 10,700 feet unless you have a Jeep, a Taco or don't care about your car. Also, just walk it. The connector trail going by Wright Lake is very pretty.
