The road from Marble to the Lead King Basin TH is still closed about 4 miles out due to avalanche. We ended up going through Crystal and parked our stock 4runner 2 miles from the TH, the hike in from that direction is relatively flat. Some high clearance 4wd vehicles did make it to the trailhead from Crystal but the road is very rough.
