You can start climbing 14ers at 2pm?!?!?!

Here is a short but sweet trip report about a couple San Juan 14ers I had the pleasure of doing later in the day on the 11th and the 12th.

You can start climbing 14ers at 2pm?!?!?!

Here are a few teaser photos!
Thanks for looking,

Your pictures are so much bigger than mine. People say they like my pictures and that size doesn't matter but I know they don't mean it.

Views to the North from the summit of Wetterhorn are pretty sweet, aren't they? ;)

Nice pix, Lemke.

What are you compensating for?! Seems like you're on a 14er tear and I'm pretty jealous! Thanks for posting. Pics are absolutely stunning and make me wanna drive to Lake City ASAP.

Thanks everyone...

Yes the views to the north from Wetterhorn are freaking fantastic! looks like I mis-labeled it for some other direction lol.

As for photo size, I actually re-sized them all from crazy huge (which is what my camera makes) to a size where the height of every photo is 1000 pixels...generally the average height of monitors. They could be a whole lot bigger but in the past I've had people complain they are so big they have to scroll for hours to view the whole photo!

And Zephyr...Wetterhorn made 9 in a row. I took the last couple days off before I head into the Gores in a few hours

Late day climbs ...

I love 'em ... the crowds are gone, the lighting is good, and the experience is serene. Thanks for posting. Happy trails!
