Mt. Tweto - from Mosquito Pass Road

Scored a bluebird day without wind for an easy climb of Mt. Tweto. Group of three split below the Buckskin summit, two heading to check off a Centennial and one headed for a Bicentennial.

Mine road is self evident, no snow of any significance, a class 1 route from start to finish and just plain wonderful day to be outside in the mts.

The usual narrative for anyone interested.

...appreciate the ”bear”?
Interesting area that I'll have to go back to and explore; thanks.

The Peruvians and Bolivians turned us on to a small offering of coca leaves on the summit for the Mother Earth God, Pachamama. Problem is DEA and ICE have this issue with leaves so we leave a single gummy bear in lieu. Some have a lucky hat, some have other lucky item . . . we leave that solo bear.

So back in June and July, we forgot the bear three times in a row ... And in August I walked out of the Weminuche on a broken ankle ... No finish of the Centennials . . . No aspen in the Elks in September . . . Now I'm climbing class one and two for a few more weeks.

I don't know if she is legit but I'm not gonna forget and find out.

Don't forget that bear ...
