Neat blog. Like being there.
My wife and I climbed Washington 33 years ago.
She was pregnant with our twin daughters, but we didn’t know it at the time.
We got to the top and she said, "I don’t think I can make it back down."

But then she found that down was quite a bit easier.
When you do the Presi Traverse, holler if you want company.
We have that on our list for next summer.

Now wishing I wasn’t a fat couch potato when I lived on the east coast. Still have family in NH, so this one needs to go on the to–do list for when I go back for visits. Thanks for your posts, I am enjoying them !

You get around!

I thought you were in the SW! Ha!

Yeah, the Whites are a very fun place. Lots of options and different trails that loop around Wash that you never have to repeat a trail. The Presidential Traverse is a blast, and the shuttle system makes it easy to do! Have fun! (Katahdin, a little farther north, is also very fun and one I definitely want to go back to someday)
