Rito Alto and Unamed 13524 from Hermit Pass

We drove up the Hermit Pass 4wd road (this is a rough road and requires high clearance 4wd from near West Cliff, Colorado and parked at a wide spot at about 12,600 ft. We hiked up the road to near Hermit Pass (13,000 ft) and followed the relatively easy ridge up to the summit of Rito Alto (13,794 ft). We continued north and descended down the ridge of Rito Alto (some third class here on slippery rock) down t about 12,900 ft and then went up the easy ridge to the summit of Unamed 13,524 peak. We decided to do something other than retrace our route by dropping 1,500 feet down into the basin and then climbing up through a gully and then back up to the road. This went by some beautiful lakes but the climb was much steeper and more difficult than it appeared to be from above and required hard class three climbing on loose rock.
