 Notch-Halo Ridge Loop

Hi you all!
Just want to share with you, via my website, one of my favorite hikes/scrambles in Colorado. The Notch-Halo Ridge Loop (about 15 miles, 6100' of height gain) is one of the most scenic loop I've done; you will find in the following webpages useful information and numerous pictures depicting this circuit. Of interest is the Notch Mountain webpage; you will find a good description, along with several pictures, of a class 3 scramble through The Notch. It's an alternative to Roach's class 2 scramble, the more options, the better!!!

My twins and I enjoyed this route last year. Sure sounds easier when you count the elevation in meters. It was a long, enjoyable day for us and looks like the same for you and your friend.
