Capitol's Northwest Buttress via Early Times

I don't really have the time to write up many of my adventures anymore, but occasionally I get around to writing up my favorite outings. Anyway, I thought I would share this September outing with the 14ers community. It is a 14er after all. If you read, I hope you enjoy!

Early Times & Cap's NW Butt

Cheers!

In 5 years, I'd totally wheel your chair to the base on this route so you can repeat it. Sounds like Cap's N side is getting popular.

I saw your party (and the other one) from the Lake and it did look a bit cool in the shade. We climbed the Knife Edge under the full moon on Friday the 13th and slept on top (arriving just after midnight), making Capitol my favorite in Colorado, too. - Ivar

Buddy, screw wheeling my chair to the base. I expect to be fully carried on a chair supported by a forehead strap from your head ala Sherpa style.

Ivar - good to hear you camped up top on Capâs summit. That would be an awe-inspiring sight for sure! Congrats!

Not just the route, but the late autumn timing. Inspiring stuff, as always.
