 RMNP Ranked 13er Finishing Jaunt

Goals: Ogalalla Pk (13,138')

Date: October 10th, 2020

Trailhead: Wild Basin

Approach Selected: Bluebird Lake

Participants: Jason Sayre, CPA (VA), MACIS, Jeff Walters

Approximate Route Specs:

Distance: 20 miles

Elevation Gain: 5,200'

Class: 2+, Easy 3

It qualifies as quite an excellent way of climbing a remote park mountain via my indicated rejuvenating, relaxing line. I highly recommend our chosen path. Its North Slopes test your mental fortitude when descending, also. Understand health-minded city-side training does certainly assist with completing the hike. I attained another Colorado ambition today. Which, left me fulfilled.

I never utilize, or rely upon, GPS. I contently, humbly made progress towards another goal again by further dwindling remaining un-climbed Ranked Front Range 13er peaks, too.

Great report with wonderful photographs. One of the few things I miss about Denver is being so close to RMNP.

Happy about reaching this aforementioned aspiration. Safe throughout. Zero turnarounds.
