Trailhead: Bear Lake

Approach Selected: Via Flattop Mtn

Participants: Jason Sayre, CPA (VA), MACIS

Approximate Route Specs:

Distance: 17 miles

Elevation Gain: 6,500'

Class: 2+

I am feeling nostalgic and, thus, posting some additional mountaineering community beta. It qualifies as quite an excellent way of climbing quasi remote Rocky Mountain National Park mountains via my indicated rejuvenating, relaxing line. I highly recommend the chosen path. It is a classic. Understand health-minded city-side training does certainly assist with completing this hike.

I never utilize, or rely upon, GPS. I humbly reflect on solo'ing these Ranked Front Range 13ers, too.

Amazing shots! Great wildlife sighting with the BHS! Rams no less, too! Thanks for sharing the amazing sights. We truly are blessed to live in such a magnificent place! Congrats on a safe, amazing hike!
