Taylor Mtn ascent in 67 minutes

So I got off of work yesterday at River Runners in Buena Vista at 5:00, and felt like climbing something, so I went to Taylor and got in my quickie for the day. I love to climb in the evening, and this could not have been better. Lots of clouds, but the sun played lots of tricks in the mountains, and I got a few great shots. I climbed from Jacks Cabin on the East side, and just went straight up the face to the top. Appx 2,000+ ft on the ascent. The descent took about 25 minutes, with some really fun scree "skiing" on the way down. I left at 6:22 pm, summited at 7:29 pm, stayed on top for a while, then cruised down to the 4runner. Oddly enough when I opened the door and looked at the clock, it was 8:22, exactly 2 hours after I left. It was a very fun way to end the work day!!
