Cathedral is another mountain near the top of my ”dream” list. Like Longs, it‘s a brutally photogenic mountain. The spires are spectacular. As always - enjoyed your report!

Hello Kimo,

Cathedral is a great climb and what a tame approach. You are literally at the lake in no time on a nice trail. I‘d aim for June with a set of crampons and an axe if I were to repeat. Even better . . . check out the Summit Post page for a description of a bit longer, steeper snow line off to the right of the main couloir. You know what . . . that steeper line just might take me back Cathedral way . . .
