? (WINTER) HOLD ON! If you don't have much high-elevation, winter climbing experience, be careful in your planning and take a partner. All 14er routes are more difficult and more dangerous in winter.



Easy 4 mile hike to the lake then a tough last push to the peak. Very steep near the top on the approach to the key hole; I crawled approximately 50 yards. Last bit to the peak has some rise but its pretty level.
