Slift - Ummon is an awesome album if you're into Tool (Lateralus era especially), Gojira, and Thee Oh Sees.

If you're a fan of RATM a Vancouver radio station played Killing In The Name for almost 24 hours straight as a stunt to announce a format change from soft rock to alt rock. People originally thought it was the DJs protesting the firing of some of their coworkers but it became pretty obvious eventually that it was a coordinated plan. Still cool to listen to the song over and over.
"Mountains are not stadiums where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, they are the cathedrals where I practice my religion. From their lofty summits I view my past, dream of the future and, with an unusual acuity, am allowed to experience the present moment. On each journey I am reborn." - Anatoli Boukreev

Just learned of the existence of Caribou Ranch, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caribou_Ranch. Am hoping to visit it soon in addition ticking off a few more named IPW summits.
Here's one of the first tunes recorded there, good ol' Joe Walsh. "Rocky Mountain Way" was inspired by his recording experiences in Colorado.
Also, this sounds like the love child of the "Traveling Wilburys" and "Grateful Dead" to me. Enjoy.

You nailed the love child description! And laced with a bit of the Velvet Underground.12ersRule wrote: ↑Thu Aug 04, 2022 12:44 pm Just learned of the existence of Caribou Ranch, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caribou_Ranch.
