Re: A new Justiner adventure
Hey thanks, everyone! We're about 90 days out, so it seemed it was time to commit to it and make it public. Many things are coming together in very surprising + amazing ways, including:
I'm really happy to announce that I've been a recipient of The Colorado Mountain Club's Adventure Grant for The Tour of the Highest Hundred! Woo! I'm extremely grateful to The Colorado Club (https://www.cmc.org/) for accepting my grant application, and making this trip more a reality. My projected (and I think aggressive) estimate of 60 days being out there will be a long stretch of time, for sure! You can only imagine what my food bill is going to be.
It was also my birthday this week, so I gave myself a little Birthday Challenge to "Everest" Green Mountain here in Boulder - thought it would make a good fitness (reality) check. Happy to report that I was successful after 13 laps! (here's what that looks like)
More announcements as they get confirmed.
I hope to make it out to the Spring Gathering, as I'm planning to have a home base for a little while in Salida while doing some early recon'ing) (Ice Mountain!) Although I'm a pretty solitary dude - and this is a pretty solitary project, beforehand it would be great to connect with more people people to share all our collective stoke for the mountains, either around the campfire, or getting after it!

Re: A new Justiner adventure
Happy Birthday and congrats on the grant! But sorry, that Everest time seems a little slow, IMHO.
JK
I'm pretty sure I would have collapsed trail side in a life threatening coma after about 5 hours of trying to keep up with you on that one.
I too will be following your progress on this impressive project. Best of Luck!
