Colorado Fourteeners Initiative is looking for helicopter support for trail maintenance efforts on Grays and Torreys Peaks and Mount Elbert in 2021.
One or two flights are needed to help haul logs and gabions (weighing upwards of 400lbs each) to worksite locations exceeding 13,500-ft in elevation on both Grays and Elbert. Helicopter support will allow staff/youth corps crews/volunteers to utilize their time constructing trail features as opposed to hauling materials up the mountain. This ensures more progress and more on-the-ground impact to protect surrounding alpine vegetation. Without helicopter support, the project will be more time intensive, costly, and less efficient.
If you are able to assist in providing helicopter support for these projects, please call: 303-278-7650 ask for Hannah Clark or email hannah@14ers.org.

Re: CFI Seeking Helicopter Support
I assume CFI will need one with MT tires, 2" lift and and full body skid plates? I guess raptor lights is a nice to have. Unfortunately, my chopper is a stock SR5, so I won't even offer.
