There’s already been slides up on Loveland pass. Enough snow to ski, enough snow to slide. This time of year, the WROD is more appealing than the potential for hitting a rock with a hip.

Summer/early season skiing is usually rough and I don’t push the difficulty when conditions suck (see broken leg #1). I ski 70-120 days a year, with 5 years over 100, so my injury percentage is actually reasonably low. But, there are plenty of stories in the ski community about early/late season major accidents. Learn from others mistakes, so you don’t make them as well.
