"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters." - Norman Maclean

All right, the latest date for the first snowfall in Denver is November 21.

https://www.weather.gov/bou/snowstat" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Given this

http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/p ... ns/610day/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and this

http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/p ... /index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

it looks like we got a good shot at beating the record. I'm placing my bet on the first snowfall occurring in December.

There have been other dry and warm falls in Denver, see 1884, 1885, and 1899, and a few other years where the first significant snowfall didn't occur until December. And you thought climate change was a recent phenomena! :lol:
