So glad for the happy ending. I couldn't even read the story because it made me too sad just knowing a puppy was out lost!. So glad it turned out well. I was able to read the story now and that sounds like a traumatic experience. Unfortunately we know your side of it too well. Things happen like that though and I try not to blame others but I do carry a can of bear spray with me on the trails now. I think it is the best non-lethal way to control or help out in a dog fight because you can't get an aggressive dog off your dog on your own. I always will believe in off leash options for dogs, but wish people would have a muzzle on their dogs that are known to be aggressive but sometimes behaviors can be unpredictable in any dog. You just never know.
