Peak 10 has awful loose talus

Yeah, looking at pics and TRs I think it is going to be comparable to West Spanish Peak, maybe not as bad, but similar.
Much much worse than WSP. Especially north slopes, I think it would be better to go up/down the east side from the road and weather station vs the direct ridge to 9.
My plan is to hike up to the summit of Peak 10 via the east ridge, drop back down and then head over to Peak 9, I was not planning on taking the ridge between the two...is that the loose stuff you are referring to?
Seems like the times that I need a mountain the most are the times that I can not get to them.

The north slope of Peak 10, above the saddle with Peak 9, is loose talus. But it really isn't terrible, and it's only about 800 vertical feet. The Jeep road up the northeast slopes goes all the way to the ridge, and then it's about 200 vertical feet from the top 'parking' area to the top. I run the Tenmile Traverse every year and go up the north slope after descending from Peak 9. I've taken many variations from Peak 10 down to Breckenridge- the dirt road, some ski trails, some off-trail routes, and following the lift towers down. Ski patrol is not going to charge after you if you're hiking up a ski trail. The ladders on the lift towers also make for a handy escape option if you encounter a rambunctious moose.
